The Manager of Data Services for the Internal Audit & Advisory Services department, is responsible for developing the strategy for IA&AS' data analytics program which includes developing and expanding the use of analytics across the Audit and Advisory lifecycles (e.g. risk assessments, audit execution, reporting, etc.). This position reports to the Chief Audit Executive and is expected to set the direction for the continuous monitoring and auditing program for the University. This position will collaborate with Internal Audit & Advisory Services and/or other departments throughout the University to identify, design, and execute data analytics opportunities that ultimately drive improved efficiencies and reduce risk.

Bachelors degree in information technology systems, or related field and a professional certification (CPA, CIA, CFE, CRMA, CISA, etc.); Relevant Masters Degree is preferred. Extensive experience in auditing (5+ years); Management experience (3+ years); Several years experience working in a data analytics or programming role preferred. Ideal candidate would have a detail-oriented, analytical mind that enjoys problem solving and creating efficiencies, while possessing strong project management and communication skills. An effective communicator (both written and oral) and able to interact with all levels of management; Able to manage multiple projects; Proven leadership and interpersonal skills; Able to manage large number of staff at varying levels or responsibility. ACL and SAP experience preferred.
