Where You Will Work: Located in Boulder, Colorado, University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) is a nonprofit organization that serves and participates in a collaborative community of researchers and educators who are dedicated to understanding the atmosphere -- the air around us -- and the complex processes that make up the Earth system, from the ocean floor to the Sun’s core. UCAR manages the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) on behalf of the National Science Foundation and the university community. What You Will Do: Reviews, drafts, negotiates and administers contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other contractual instruments with our sponsors in support of UCAR activities. Serves as a liaison with UCAR’s sponsors, which are diverse and include organizations such as U.S. federal agencies, state and local agencies, universities, non-profits, commercial companies, and a similar range of foreign sponsors. Serves as a liaison with internal management, corporate attorneys, and other UCAR personnel and advises them on risk. Works closely with contract, financial, budget, and lab/program professionals to resolve issues related to contract provisions. Responsibilities: Level II:
