Coordinate, facilitate and manage Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) development for UTA. In a leadership role, work closely with the ERM Steering Committee, Working Committee to develop a top ERM program. Lead and facilitate ERM training and awareness programs for UTA. Work closely with UTA leadership to help ensure adequate mitigation strategies are developed to address strategic risks. Work closely with UTA leadership to help ensure the ERM initiatives are integrated into the UTA strategic plan. Manages assigned project audits from the Internal Audit Annual Plan with limited to no supervision. Responsible for the management and execution of special Internal Audit projects.
Lead the ongoing development and operations of the Institution's Enterprise Risk Management program. Research and recommend ERM best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve the understanding and communication of risk. Support the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management Policy and Risk Appetite Framework. Work directly with various multi-disciplinary areas to identify and report potential risks and opportunities that exist within the UTA's operating landscape. Where applicable, work with multi-disciplinary area leaders and/or risk owners to develop and enhance risk mitigation plans. Facilitate and support risk assessments and studies, providing research, analysis, advice and other inputs as required.
