This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and innovative accounting and audit leader to play a critical role on behalf of one of America’s top research universities during a pivotal period of time. As the university continues to advance its transformational mission, the Associate Controller--External Audits will play a key role in implementing this progressive audit model. Serving as the liaison between the University and the external audit firms, the Associate Controller will oversee an effective audit process through an efficient flow of information, documentation and communication. This inaugural role is responsible for informing leadership of potential risk as well ensuring the university is taking proper safeguards. Responsible for ensuring audits are being performed as efficiently and effectively as possible, the individual stepping into this cutting-edge role will serve as the primary point of contact for all interactions pertaining to the external audit process and will be given ample opportunities for professional development and career progression.
