Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and Administration, the Controller is responsible for supervising, managing, and maintaining effective accounting, cash management and financial reporting systems for all funds under control of the District and the College Foundation. The Controller is responsible for the development and implementation of business and fiscal policies and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls. The Controller also supervises and oversees Business Office operations and serves as liaison with external auditors.

Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field and Certified Public Accountant credential. 2. Five years progressively responsible experience in accounting or business office administration. 3. Significant supervisory/management experience. 4. Proven effective communication skills. 5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and interact effectively with faculty, staff and students. 6. Experience with PC-based accounting systems and spreadsheet/database applications.
