Access TD Bank on-line banking system and record, reconcile, review and highlight all banking activity, including: Prepare, review, and submit journal entries for ALL wire transfers, interdepartmental charges, and G/L corrections, 403B/457B retirement plans, payrolls, debt service payment, various accounts payable vouchers and other international transfers as needed. Process stop payments, cancelled check requests, and check imaging requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Access TD Bank on-line banking system and record, reconcile, review and highlight all banking activity.
Higher One Administration-Adelphi contact person for system that processes student refunds via Higher One.
Assist with recording all transactions related to the $200 million Adelphi investments.
Manage credit (purchasing) card program, including monthly reconciliations, compliance with University policies.
Run G/L Imbalance Report.
Reconcile web account relating to credit card payments.
Record payroll supplements.
Record various monthly recurring journal entries.
Prepare employee advance reconciliation.
Upload TD Bank paid checks file to SAAS.
Manage billing for on-campus space rentals and individual housing rentals.
Record various payroll posting to G/L.
For year-end audit requirements: Assist external auditors with reconciliation inquiries and other financial area requests.
Process bookstore vouchers.
Assist with 1098-T inquiries.
Investments (approx. 25 different investment accounts with a combined market value of over $200million).
Aging of Accounts Receivables and related analysis.
Medical Plan reconciliation.
Assist with Operating account bank reconciliations.
Flexible spending account.
Special Billing account.
Various other monthly reconciliations as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
Minimum of one to two years of accounting/bookkeeping experience required.
