Dominican University New York seeks a qualified full-time Senior Accountant. This position is responsible for the preparation, analysis and reconciliation of various financial and accounting reports, including General Ledger entries, fixed assets, department expenditures, financial schedules, scholarship reconciliations, etc. This position is the backup to the Controller in the areas of banking and general ledger system management. The Senior Accountant will also work closely with the Grants Administration team to help manage the cost and cash flows of various federal grants.  This is a highly visible position and is expected to assist the VP-Financial Affairs/CFO in preparation of Annual Operating Budget and various special projects as assigned.
