The Opportunity
Audit and Compliance is looking for an energetic and self-motivated professional who seeks to build and nurture relationships on the UT Heath Science Center and UT Martin campuses and with the state-wide UT community. The position may sit in the Memphis or Martin office. The successful candidate is a highly motivated team member who works well autonomously and with a team and derives professional satisfaction from adding value and advancing the department's goals.
UT System Internal Audit is seeking to hire a Staff Auditor or Senior Auditor responsible for performing and/or leading assigned audits, advisory reviews, and special projects from planning to project completion. Responsibilities of the position include:
- Project planning and management
- Field work execution and documentation
- Gathering and analyzing applicable data and documenting work performed
- Summarizing results
- Client communication and report writing
- Maintaining industry knowledge of current auditing practices and regulatory guidance
- Developing audit programs, and performing risk assessments (Senior Auditor)
- Reviewing work performed and providing guidance to others (Senior Auditor)
This position will provide audit coverage primarily for both the Memphis and Martin, TN offices. Annual travel for audit work and training up to approximately 10-15%.
