Degree Audit System Coordinator (remote potential)
Position Purpose This position is responsible for maintenance of the DegreeWorks degree audit system, including updates for curriculum changes, and will develop enhancements of the system to support constituent use. Additionally, this position will be responsible for reporting from the audit system to support course schedule development based on student needs. As part of the Registrar's Office team, the incumbent will support enhancements to Self-Service Banner (MyNEC) and perform data entry and integrity checking to support the office.
Essential Duties Summary
Collaborate with colleagues to scribe academic requirements into DegreeWorks using coding protocol;
Maintain list of college approved majors and programs in Banner, DegreeWorks and other systems as needed, ensuring curriculum accuracy across systems;
Develop and support DegreeWorks enhancements, optimization, and upgrades; troubleshoot problems in collaboration with Registrars Office team;
Generate reports, data, and audits from DegreeWorks and Banner to inform curricular change impacts and assist with scheduling projections and recommendations based on student progression;
Assist with responding to ad hoc data requests using available Argos reporting tools;
Collaborate with faculty and colleagues to develop and maintain Student Educational Planner templates;
Train college constituents in DegreeWorks, Banner, and Banner Self-Service (MyNEC) as needed. Prepare and maintain process documentation and user training materials;
Assist with SIS data entry and validation, including student programs, course schedules, course information and restrictions;
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Education
Bachelors degree
Experience
2-5 years experience in academics in a higher education setting or related experience
2-5 years experience using Student Information Systems (SIS), Degree audit systems (Banner, Degree Works preferred)
Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrated skill in technology and software systems including the Microsoft Office suite
